About Us

Celebrating Our 125th Year - 1891 - 2016

 
Administrative Offices, Outpatient Services and Partial Hospitalization Program are located at 800 Clinton Street in Woonsocket.

Community Care Alliance was established on July 1, 2014 through the merger of NRI Community Services and Family Resources Community Action. The two Woonsocket-based nonprofits united to create a comprehensive multi-service agency that better addresses the needs in the community. Community Care Alliance has over 125 years of experience—a long history of working to strengthen families, individuals and the community.

Our goal is to empower people challenged by economic insecurity, mental illness and addictions, housing issues, and other trauma-related concerns. We provide counseling, treatment and support services; food, shelter and housing; programs to assist with self-sufficiency such as employment, financial literacy and vocational training; and support for self-help.

As a fully licensed, certified, multi-service, non-profit, health & human services agency, we offer more than 50 programs that address the multiple needs of the people we serve. We are accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA).

We continuously seek opportunities to better serve individuals and families through developing outcome-driven, innovative programming and establishing collaborative partnerships with other organizations.
