Project LEARN — Adult Literacy
Project LEARN Adult and Family Literacy Program, which merged with Community Care Alliance on July 1, 2015, offers services and supports for adult learners with disabilities and other challenges to help them achieve their educational and workplace goals.
Services for individuals age 16 and up include:
- GED and Pre-GED classes
- ESL classes
- Wilson Reading System – specialized reading program for adults unable to read.
- Classes are held at the Project LEARN offices at 55 Main Street, Woonsocket, RI, as well as the Woonsocket Public Library, the Cumberland Public Library, the Blackstone Valley Prep Mayoral Academy in Cumberland and the Central Falls Housing Authority.
