Volunteers Offer Free Tax Prep Services

Community Care Alliance is providing FREE Income Tax Preparation for families with incomes less than $64,000 through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. Services are by appointment only and can be scheduled by calling 401-235-7187. All preparers are certified by the IRS, and will help with e-filing for faster returns, and with getting tax credits, such as the Earned Income Tax Credit and Childcare Tax Credit. 

Tax preparation appointments will be held at Community Care Alliance at 800 Clinton Street, Suite 302, Woonsocket on Mondays through Thursdays from 4:00 P.M. – 7:30 P.M.;  and Saturdays from 9:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M.
