We help our clients address their unique situation guided by evidence-based practices. Services are offered at various locations, predominantly in northern Rhode Island.

How We Help

  • Mobile crisis and emergency services for mental health and behavioral health
  • Basic needs assistance
  • Counseling, treatment, support services, and residential programs for individuals and families impacted by trauma, serious mental illness and/or substance use
  • Shelter and supportive housing to prevent homelessness and promote stabilization
  • Education, employment, and vocational training to improve self-sufficiency.
  • Outpatient treatment for individuals and families
  • Early childhood programs

For example, we help put food on the table, keep lights on, pay an emergency bill, improve employment outcomes, ensure an adolescent’s well-being, recover someone’s behavioral health, provide safe, sober spaces for socializing, build parenting skills… and more.

We believe that people flourish when they have a healthy mind and body, a place to live, enough food, supportive relationships, and sufficient income. When these conditions are present our communities thrive.

We support a culture of collaboration and communication, and our teams work together to provide the most accessible and appropriate care. We do this through outcome-driven, innovative programming and collaborative partnerships between programs and with other organizations. We are a proud member of Horizon Healthcare Partners and a non-profit co-owner of the social enterprise, Horizon Pharmacy.

Community Care Alliance, a non-profit 501C (3), is a Community Action Program agency and a member of the Rhode Island Community Action Association. CCA is licensed with Department of Behavioral Health, Developmental Disabilities and Hospitals (BHDDH), Department of Health, and maintains accreditation with Council on Accreditation and Healthy Families America and is a nationally Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC).
