What makes us unique?
Community Care Alliance is a licensed Community Mental Health Center and Community Action agency all wrapped into one. This means that individuals and families are guided by professional staff within the framework of both behavioral health services and community action programs.
Additionally, as a nationally Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, we meet federal requirements to provide expanded evidence-based behavioral healthcare, including 24/7 crisis supports. We operate over 50 programs, providing a comprehensive array of family-centered services that are designed to build on individual strengths to provide not only mental health and substance use treatment, but also to help individuals and families address problems related to basic needs, housing, education and financial self- sufficiency. Anyone can access the complex system of care within our single agency.

For example, we help put food on the table, keep lights on, improve employment outcomes, ensure children’s well-being, support recovery, provide safe, sober spaces, build parenting skills… and more.
Our teams work together to provide the most accessible and appropriate care. We do this through outcome-driven, innovative programming and collaborative partnerships between programs and with other organizations.
We are a proud member of Horizon Healthcare Partners and a non-profit co-owner of the social enterprise, Horizon Pharmacy.

Services are offered at various locations, predominantly in northern Rhode Island.
