What is CAB?
The Community Advisory Board consists of individuals with lived experience related to behavioral or mental health. Members will advocate for peers and identify ways to improve Community Care Alliance services. The purpose of CAB is to help make sure we are united in helping the community. We ask that interested clients be open and respectful of others while in this shared space.
CAB members will…
- Connect with agency Board Members
- Provide insight and feedback to set priorities with personal insights
- Review polices and craft recommendations
- Hear directly from programs about improvements
Requirements to join…
- Be over 18 (or with adult permission)
- You or a family member has used behavioral and/or mental health services
- Be open and ready to share

The Community Advisory Board is a standard practice of the CCBHC.
2025 CAB Recommendations
- Staff Retention— Increase training options for staff. Add in more staff surveys and appreciations. (IMPLIMENTED)
- Harbour Youth Center— Increase resume building opportunities and community connections such as housing support. Additional support for counseling. (IMPLIMENTED)
- Grief Group— Implement opportunities for clients to attend peer support groups for Grief. (ON GOING)
- Group expanding— Implement recommendations on outreach areas and messaging tactics. Ideas on future topics. (continuous)
