Sharing Ideas, Sharing Support
Raising children is hard. So how do we bring parents together to build connections related to the challenges of parenting today? In Rhode Island, Circle of Parents is one solution, and these groups are available in Woonsocket.
The Circle of Parents group, led by Tiffany Hazel, Community Liaison/Intake Coordinator for the northern region Family Care Community Partnership (FCCP), reveals to moms that they are not alone in their motherhood. Along with her 5 years of experience working with families, Tiffany is also a mom to 2 daughters and that experience is what resonates with the group. She knows that snack negotiations with a five-year-old are real.
Circle of Parents is FREE statewide program for parents experiencing challenges, parents who are seeking kinship in motherhood. It is an opportunity to offer and/or receive support and build connections in the community you live in.
