Garden Donation is Built on CCA Grounds

Garden Building Volunteers

A new community garden was the inspirational project of Leadership Rhode Island. With the expertise of Dimeo Construction the idea became reality. Now Woonsocket residents and clients of Community Care Alliance have the opportunity to grow and harvest vegetables and flowers.

The Unusual Nurse

Daughter & mother, talk about how they both became nurses and work for Community Care Alliance.

Nurses are here in force! For clients who are struggling with everyday living situations, addressing health concerns can require that professional bridge—the professional who will say, “you need to take care of your physical self, and I will help you do that.”

Vital VITA and Valerie

In recognition of work well done, Valerie Benoit, our VITA Site Coordinator, received the IRS Above & Beyond award from the United Way! VITA is the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.

Leaving The Harbour

Stump Evans

Stump is best known for engaging Woonsocket youth who were seeking a safe environment to express their true selves and discover their strengths to enter adulthood with skills to gain employment. While structured as a career development center, this program, “The Harbour” was a name chosen by kids yearning for a place to belong in a safe, supportive environment.
