Congratulations! In recognition of work well done, Valerie Benoit, our VITA Site Coordinator, received the IRS Above & Beyond award from the United Way! VITA is the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program. The award recognizes individuals who model superior services and put in extra effort to support VITA’s mission. There are 25 VITA Sites in Rhode Island and the total number of federal returns accepted was 9637.  Which means that here at CCA we did 10.75% of all returns in Rhode Island this filing season.
