Jessica Jones Receives Rally Award

Felicity holding a goat
Felicity Dyer loved the opportunity to hold a goat supplied by Brandy Bates, Outreach Coordinator of the American Addiction Centers.

If you’ve never been to the Rally for Recovery, you might not know that it is a big deal for the recovery community. It’s a time of celebration and recognition. This year, Jessica Jones, Peer Support Specialist and Supervisor at our Serenity Peer Recovery Drop-In Center, was taken by surprise when she received the Change Maker Award at the Rally for Recovery, presented by Stacey Levin, RICARES Deputy Director. The award is given to recognize the impact and ripple effect one person can have on an entire community by believing they can make a change and putting in the work to make it happen. Congratulations, Jessica!

The 2025 Rally for Recovery was hosted by RICARES (RI Communities for Addiction Recovery Efforts) on September 13th at 195 District Park in Providence.

Thank you, Jessica Jones, for your commitment to the recovery community and changing people’s lives, one at a time.

Outreach!

Nine Community Care Alliance employees (not all pictured here) attended the Rally and helped out at our outreach table. Thank you for joining in and celebrating the recovery of so many people we know and love.

Tammy Wiggins and David Mercer, Safe Haven staff, joined forces to meet and greet people and talk about our services.
Peer Support Specialists, Kerrie Gray and Amanda Buffery took care of our table too.

What can we help you find?
