Youth & Young Adult Employment & Academic Support Programs
Our drop-in center is a welcoming, supportive environment for youth and young adults ages 14 – 24. We offer a range of career building, job readiness and academic enrichment programs to help young people get the support they need to achieve their goals.

Portraits of Promise—Stories from The Harbour
Mariam Kaba, a recent Woonsocket High School graduate, is transforming communities through collaboration and visionary leadership. In 2022, Mariam won big bucks for her big idea to engage Rhode Islanders of color in career preparation, mental health wellness, financial literacy, and more.
Stump Evans, The Harbour Youth Center Program Manager, was asked to speak at The New Normal: LGBTQ+ Youth Living Through COVID-19, a national conference organized by the Philadelphia Coalition for Queer Justice and Intersectional Equity.
Maddie inspired an all-girls team to be regional competition winners, giving them the opportunity to video chat with real astronauts on the International Space Station for the final competition. And, her diligent efforts to provide support to our most vulnerable populations cannot go unnoticed.
