National External Diploma Program (NEDP)
The National External Diploma Program is for adults 21 and older who have work experience. This independent program evaluates students’ skills based on activities, instead of standardized tests. Students will earn a high school diploma when they have completed all required activities. This program can be completed online, but will require students to meet weekly with an assessor. There is a cost of $300 to enter the online program once a student qualifies.
To register for any Project LEARN class, call 401-769-4200. Please leave a message with your name, phone number, and whether you are interested in GED, NEDP, or ESL. A staff member will return your call and set up a registration appointment. Face-to-face GED, NEDP, and ESL classes are currently available at our Woonsocket and Cumberland locations. Our online classes are available to students across Rhode Island and neighboring states. Registration appointments are held at our Woonsocket location.
