Project Opportunity offers intensive, integrated adult education classes and hands on technical training, financial literacy, and work readiness skills.
The program is designed help students meet Department of Human Services requirements and includes wrap-around service coordination with a case manager that may continue after programming.
We take down barriers to education and employment.
Students develop an Individualized Employment Plan and curriculum based on the context of their employment situation. Classes stress essential skills that include job search, resume building, mock interviews, interpersonal skills practice, paper and online job application practice, internships, etc.
Learning style preferences are accounted for. Students may blend teaching models, such as individual and group instruction; technology and hands-on.
